Construction:
All our rustic cedar style log beds come with headboard, footboard and include sturdy metal side rails with a nice half log cover for great looks. No mattress or boxspring is included. Bed sizes from twin through queen will ship in 2 boxes via UPS. King will ship via common carrier freight line. All log furniture is subject to the natural process of "checking". Checking happens as wood releases moisture, and normally occurs across or through the annual growth rings. It is the usual result of wood seasoning. Checking occurs only on the surface of the wood and does not affect the structural performance or integrity of the wood. This natural process adds to the uniqueness of the pieces and lends it that certain rustic appeal that has become so popular in home and garden decor.

Complete beds are available for sale. Additional metal center supports for your log bed are also available, and recommended for Queen and King beds.(for $55) if needed. These are not necessary for twin and full sizes, and optional for queen and king.
