The set is constructed of three inch logs that are mortesed and tenoned and glued and screwed together. The double siderails ensure the bed is sturdy and solid. Every top, drawer front and door is hand draw-knifed on the edges to give the unit that lodge look. Each piece is accented with a hand hewn corner log and drawer pull to give it style and character. The drawer side material is a white hardwood such as aspen or hickory. Each drawer is mounted on a side-mount ball bearing roller system to give trouble-free operation for the life of the product. The top drawers of each unit have aromatic red cedar drawer bottoms to give your clothes that fresh cedar aroma.It comes in a clear lacquer finish that brings out the true beauty of the knotty pine or a honey pine finish that gives it a very warm look.
